Patchwork Headboard

This is one of my favorite diy projects so far. I collected wood from the ReStore in Ballard (which is now Ballard Reuse). I found a piece of plywood sitting by the street outside of a church leftover from a rummage sale. I glued all of the pieces on in patchwork fashion. There were very few screws or nails involved, just lots of wood glue. The boarder is made out of flooring, also from the ReStore. The frame and legs are made out of 2x4s. The headboard is secured against the wall with some hooks and eyes. The only thing I bought new were the 2×4’s to support the piece.
